Robotic Palletising Systems

Kensal Handling Systems specialise in "integrating" all of the critical elements required to complete the automation of the Palletising process, combined with our renowned expertise in conveying systems our experienced project management team have the know how, especially in the food & drinks/beverages market.

KUKA Smartpad giving Kensal solutions the power in robotic pallet solutions

The KUKA series 2000 and recently launched Quantec range are specially developed to provide solutions for high speed palletisation with payloads up to 300KG with placement accuracy to +/- 0.05mm.

Combine these robots and conveyors with our expertise in the all important area of gripper tool application and know-how and your products are on the way to your customers, on time and with quality assured.

We have many years of experience in supply solutions to your robotic palletising or packaging requirements.

We utilise a complete and comprehensive range of KUKA packaging robots for fast precise work in confined spaces with high repeatability.

No matter how varied your work process, you are bound to find the right KUKA robot for your application.

Our range covers the 1KG up to 1300KG payload categories with the latest developments tailored to Palletising solutions, we are ready to provide your project with exciting innovation and all important cost savings.

Kensal also offer the brand new KUKU AGILUS series: the future of small robots in the 6KG to 10KG payload category.

HIGH SPEED. In handling tasks, especially pick-and-place tasks, KUKA small robots demonstrate one of their greatest strengths: extreme speed. This produces impressive results with minimal cycle times.

PRECISION. Where high repeatability and exactitude are required, KUKA small robots are in their element. They enable manufacturing quality at the highest level. Thanks to their robust design, they work with constant precision through the work envelope.

INTEGRATED ENERGY SUPPLY SYSTEM. For extremely streamline contours, KUKA small robots have the energy supply system routed internally, including EtherCAT / EtherNet (bus cable), three 5/2-way valves (compressed air), direct air line, and six inputs and two outputs. Simple gripper integration and fast reaction - especially for work in confined spaces.

WIDE RANGE OF MOUNTING POSITIONS. Installation on the floor, wall or ceiling. The KUKA small robots produce impressive results in every position - thanks to the brakes integrated in all axes.

LOW MAINTENANCE. The motors and gear units of the KUKA small robots require no change of lubricant. This makes them ideally suited to continuous, uninterrupted productivity.

OPTIMAL WORK ENVELOPE. With reaches of up to 1,100mm and the ability to reach points near to the robot base as well as in the overhead area, the KR AGILUS offers an optimal work envelope. This enables cost-effective, space-saving cell concepts.

KUKA KR C4 CONTROLLER. The KUKA small robot family is operated - just like its big brothers - using the same KUKA control technology.

We offer our standard KUKA range as well a family of special robot variants for all manner of working environments.

These industries have all benefited from KUKA variants:

  • Arctic: Freezer storage/Frozen foods

  • Water proof: Food and Drink/Cold storage/Hygienic/Cleanroom

  • High Temperature: Foundry/Metal Works/Welding/Fabrication

  • Explosion Proof: Atex Environment/Defence/Pharmaceutical/Chemical

There is a robot solution for nearly all industrial environments, we have a vast reference list that covers applications and solutions across the industrial spectrum, contact us with your query and challenge Kensal/KUKA to provide the solution.
